How Do Antioxidants Work?
A Foundation To Good Health begins with...

a Multi-Vitamin
a Multi-Antioxidant
a Mega-Antioxidant

Nutrition should be complete and balanced. Todays "western" diet does not provide complete, balanced nutrition. Some nutrients may be required at higher dosage than foods can supply. For example; the optimal dosage of Vitamin E (as d-Alpha tocopheryl) is 400 IU daily. You would have to consume 33 pounds of spinach to get the same benefit - each day!
That's if you don't get E. Coli from the spinach.
Optimal nutrition to combat symptoms and degenerative disease requires sophisticated, professional science combined with documented clinical trials - over time.
If your antioxidant supplement is merely marketing you "vitamin E" because that's what the latest research shows, how do you know it's in a form your body can utilize? What amount should you take? Does vitamin E work better when taken with other vitamins(synergistic effect)? Did you buy yours just because it was the cheapest you could find?
How Does Yours Stack-UP?
How does your Wal-Mart branded multi-vitamin compare to the vitamins at GNC?
What benchmarks did you use when choosing a multivitamin?
Or was it just price? Do you realize not all Vitamin E is the same? One form is highly bioavailable. The other, not even recognized by the body but much cheaper to produce. (hint, what you buy in the grocery store is cheap in price - yup, because it's cheaply manufactured with ingredients your body can't use)
Which do you think is in that cheap bargain-basement Wal-Mart brand?
The vitamin supplements industry is a multi-billion dollar industry that will continue to grow for decades to come as the baby-boomers get older. You are being "marketed" by literally thousands of different manufacturers of vitamins under various brand names like GNC, Walgreens and Sam's Club, even Target has their own vitamins. My favorite; "The Worlds Greatest Vitamin" ...more to come on this little suckers trap.
Dear health conscious visitor ...do you really think that Sam's Club is an expert at nutrition? Or are they merely marketing a vitamin because that's what everyone else is doing? The "me to" corporate syndrome.
My antioxidants guide will be your online guide to:
- nutritionals you can trust
- what is pharmaceutical-grade compared to food-grade
- detailed explanations of all vitamins and minerals
- information on vital antioxidant protection for degenerative diseases
- why you must insist on pharmaceutical grade supplements versus food grade supplements ...yes Virginia, there is a difference!
In addition I can help you answer these 3 key questions you may have:
Do you realize that out of the 1,000s of vitamins & multi-vitamins on the market only about 25% are manufactured to benefit your body. Of about 1500 multi-supplements only about 4 are considered the best and only one of those that I highly recommend.
